I wrote this book because I want to bridge the gap that has been created between youth sports coaches and the parents of the players. I wanted to remind us all that these young children are looking for us to act like adults. They don't want us to take over the game, they want us to create an environment where they can learn the sport and participate in the events. Can't we get that done for them?   

About my latest book, Put Your Game Together: Ethical Management in Youth Sports and Business

In this book you'll learn my story, that of a young kid who was raised by a single mother of four, with very little money, and how this game of football would teach me good work ethics and alter my life. This book will explain how I went from a hard working employee to becoming a business owner and why that is relevant to being a successful coach. There is everything in here, from fundamental drills to building friendships.  

This book will also explain how, together, we can bring the joy back into our sports programs and create a fair and fun environment for our kids. There will be more focus on ethics and principals than there will be on the plastic trophy. Youth coaches will learn how to build a better program by getting the parents involved and generating a positive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Winning will come naturally.
